THE AGILE WORKSPACE – ONE SIZE CERTAINLY DOESN’T FIT ALL….

The UK is apparently on the verge of a flexible working ‘tipping point’, it has become a fundamental part of the modern workplace and as such, the practice of agile working is constantly evolving.

Of course, great design and efficient technology come first, but it’s vital to remember that agile working is no longer just about the fabric of the building. It’s about the people within and empowering your staff to make choices as to where they will complete the work that needs to be done. Every office is full of different personalities and how they come together can alter the working environment, output and productivity of the individuals and the business as a whole.

An agile workspace can support collaboration, innovation, knowledge sharing and job satisfaction, so it is important to ask how well do you really know your workers and understand their needs? If you understand the people within, the environment can be adapted to suit. Agile working is still a fluid concept which is why we have explored this in a series of White Papers – the first of which looks at ‘What Type of Office Worker Are You’. So if you want to understand more about your workers, different work styles and how these affect the daily management of agile workspaces, be sure to check back in with us tomorrow when you will be able to download it for FREE.
