High Street Stalwart extends contract with Anabas
published on 10/06/2011
Anabas has recently announced the extension of its contract with Robert Dyas for window cleaning, floor maintenance, mechanical & electrical maintenance and helpdesk for a further 12 months. This extension supports the recent PFM Award short listing for the companies in the Public Access category.
Established in 1872, Robert Dyas has 100 stores across the South of England. The portfolio has survived several set-backs throughout Robert Dyas’ operation, including the economic depression after World War I and the Blitz of World War II, when its Head Office, warehouse and 18 stores were destroyed. In 1997 they lost their Head Office and warehouse again to fire.
Anabas’ relationship with Robert Dyas started in 2008, consolidating window cleaning services across half the portfolio. Since then, they have worked with the internal property team to examine a number of service areas for their stores including cleaning, maintenance and helpdesk.
Anabas now delivers a truly bespoke retail FM model to the high street Houseware and Gardening retailer. This holistic approach has brought a number of self-delivered and sub-contracted service areas under Anabas’ service umbrella.
Alan Holliman, Head of Property & Development at Robert Dyas says ‘We are pleased to be extending the contract with Anabas. We get the right level of input and support from the team and they have proved to be flexible and reliable partner for us over the previous three years.’
Mark Cooper, Managing Director of Anabas commented, ‘We are delighted to get the buy in from Robert Dyas to publicly recognise what both parties feel is a great working partnership. By extending this relationship into its fourth year we believe it can continue to go from strength to strength and contribute to the effective management of their retail portfolio.’
