Anabas signs up new retailers

published on 01/09/2010

Forward-thinking facilities management provider, Anabas, has recently secured four new contracts within the fast moving and highly competitive retail sector.  The contracts, which are with French Connection, Kurt Geiger, Levi and Hub Retail, will benefit from Anabas’ extensive knowledge, nationwide capacity and first class customer support services.
Every aspect of a retail outlet’s activities contributes to a customer’s experience and, for both retailers’ staff and their customers, the shop environment should provide a safe, clean and well-managed space. A retail outlet requires a high level of security, regularly tested and inspected fire safety precautions and a good level of hygiene. For this, the sourcing of the correct cleaning, maintenance and FM services is paramount. Doing this in a consolidated, cost effective way is something Anabas has special experience in delivering.
“In many cases delivering typical FM services such as shop floor cleaning, window cleaning and M&E is the responsibility of store managers. They often lack the time and knowledge to source the most efficient and cost-effective providers,” explains Mark Cooper, Managing Director of Anabas. “Store managers need support to make informed decisions regarding the shop’s facilities management and to ensure that all workers, shop floor staff and other cleaning/maintenance providers, are fully insured.  In order to create a high standard of facilities management within retail shops, without costs spiraling out of control, a dedicated and comprehensive facilities management programme is vital.”
Anabas is to look after head office cleaning for French Connection, planned and reactive store maintenance & helpdesk services for 36 Kurt Geiger stores and 40 Levi stores.  For Hub Retail Anabas mobilising quickly to meet the first store opening for the UK’s newest variety store, will provide cleaning and support services.
Mark Cooper comments, “I’m delighted to announce the continued growth of our retail portfolio with these new contracts.  We pride ourselves on having excellent customer relationships at all levels of the business. We focus on creating solutions that fulfill our clients’ exacting requirements, while meeting their business vision and values.  We look forward to providing first class service to these retailers.”
