Anabas Supports North East Employment

Anabas is proud to be involved with a local Apprenticeship Scheme and helping support young people into employment.
Anabas is working with Group Horizons to give a young apprentice the opportunity to gain experience in working towards her NVQ in HR. With recent government focus on getting young people into work, Anabas explored the opportunities available in the North East. Apprentices learn on the job, building up knowledge and skills, gaining qualifications and earning money all at the same time. There are targets and checks to make sure that the apprentice is been supported and is making good progress.
Paige Livingstone started the scheme in February and immediately started showing her dedication and passion for HR, as well as proving to be a friendly addition to the Anabas team.
Following the completion of her 10 week placement, Anabas has been able to offer Paige a full time role whilst finalising her NVQ. Paige has now successfully completed her BTEC, NCFE & NVQ.
Jayne Comerford, HR Team Leader at Anabas said “It has been a pleasure having Paige working on our team and I am very happy we could offer Paige a permanent position. Been able to watch the progression of Paige’s journey is very rewarding. We are now exploring the options for taking on our next apprentice.”
